Although it might feel like the 2024 festive period has just ended, Christmas and the end of 2025 are just around the corner after another whirlwind 12 months.
2025 has been a busy year for us here at DBL Asset Management. We have worked hard throughout the year to provide a service that gives you complete confidence in your wealth, and reassurance that you are on track towards achieving your objectives.
As the year winds to a close, it is a good opportunity to reflect. So, to give you a sense of what has been happening here throughout 2025, we have put together a “DBL Asset Management year in numbers” featuring the key facts and figures that sum up our past 12 months.
44: The number of mailers and newsletters we delivered to you
As many of you will know, we actively stay in contact with you throughout the year through regular mailers and newsletters. This lets you touch base with us between review meetings and any other communications.
As of 1 December, we have sent a total of 44 email communications to you. Those consisted of:
- 11 newsletters to professionals and business owners on our “Life after hours” (LAH) proposition, offering useful information to help you manage your wealth
- 11 newsletters to our rugby players and professionals on our “Life after sport” (LAS) proposition, containing detailed insights into managing wealth specifically for those working in professional rugby
- 11 4Ed mailers, providing regular updates on Ed Slater and his battle with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), including the fundraising support he receives from the wider rugby community
- 4 Quarterly Investment Reviews, updating you on the funds held within your investments with Quilter
- 3 VouchedFor mailers, some announcing our Top Rated status on VouchedFor, and others requesting your feedback (more on this in a moment)
- 1 Spring Statement update, delivering the announcements from the chancellor in March on the latest fiscal plans of the government
- 1 Autumn Budget update, providing the same insights as above from the main government fiscal policy announcement in November
- 1 Autumn Budget drop-in session mailer, offering you the chance to book a 25-minute slot for an online discussion about changes announced in the Budget
- 1 Client Agreement update, giving you all the latest changes to our Client Agreement, straight to your inbox.
On top of those figures, we also resend insights such as our newsletters, VouchedFor updates, and Budget announcement mailers if you do not open them straight away. This helps ensure you do not miss them in your inbox.
We hope you have found these communications useful this year in staying up to date with your finances, and we will continue to send them in 2026.
Please let us know if there is anything you would like to see more of next year.

34: New VouchedFor reviews for Dacre and Mark
As mentioned above, we sent mailers this year announcing our VouchedFor Top Rated status and requesting feedback if you have not already left it.
VouchedFor is an independent review site exclusively for financial advisers and planners. Clients can leave a score and a review for their adviser based on how they feel about the advice, service, and value for money they received.
Receiving positive feedback on VouchedFor is incredibly meaningful for us for two reasons.
Firstly, it is directly from clients, who are the best arbiters of whether our service is effective. Knowing that we are doing a good job for you is the most important part of what we do.
Secondly, good feedback and ratings give potential clients the confidence they need that we are a trustworthy firm acting in their best interest. So, when you leave us a positive review, you help someone else find a financial adviser, too.
In 2025, Dacre and Mark received 34 VouchedFor reviews between them:
- Dacre received 25 client reviews, taking him to 177 reviews and a 4.8/5 rating.
- Mark received nine client reviews and one first impression review from a prospective client, taking him to 55 reviews and a 4.9/5 rating.
These excellent reviews have led to Dacre, Mark, and the firm achieving Top Rated status on the platform.
Top Rated status is awarded to advisers and firms with the highest positive reviews. The list of these individuals was published in the Times and the Telegraph.
This puts Dacre and Mark among the best advisers in the country for client feedback, and DBL Asset Management among the best firms.
A big thank you to everyone who has left us a review on VouchedFor. If you have not yet done so, we would be very grateful if you could. Simply navigate to the review page of your adviser, scroll down to reviews, and select “Write your own review”.
