At work
Mark joined DBL in 2018, having previously been a professional rugby player. After graduating from the University of Nottingham, a trial at Northampton Saints resulted in him staying there for six years. He transferred to the Sale Sharks in 2011 and moved to Wilmslow.
After retiring from rugby at the grand old age of 33, Mark taught business studies at Wrekin College in Shropshire and was Director of Rugby.
Financial services had always interested him, and as he had benefited from financial advice himself, he made the career change. Mark has completed his professional exams and is now a fully qualified financial planner. His first-hand experience with the issues sports professionals face is invaluable.
At home
Mark is married with two young daughters and two dogs, all of who ensure he maintains an active lifestyle.
